My proposal, our engagement.

"Will you marry me?"
a short, simple 4 words question;
but what comes with it,
is an everlasting, challenging journey of
love, promises and commitments.

21st February 2015, was her birthday.

And on this special day, I had plans for a little surprise,

With the biggest gift for my lady.

- My promises of a lifetime;
my love of eternity.

Venues
Jen Hotel, for our staycation.
Joie Restaurant by DOZO, for our Bday dinner.
Orchard Central rooftop, where I proposed.

People who made this night special
(in no order of merit)
My Sister, Qian Yi,
My brother, Kia Chuan,
Kris,
Ting Fung,
Randall,
Chow Tat and Shannon
Allen & Cerlyn

Me and my fiancée first checked into Jen Hotel that noon,
a pleasantly comfortable hotel where we really enjoyed the stay.
There she relaxed,
while I was 'working' behind her back.

Planning was done several weeks back.
Props were ready.
My guys were ready.
Ring and flowers were ready.
But 'frenzy' just couldn't leave me alone.

As planned, the team would help me to deliver my items,
and setting up the venue for my proposal.
(much thanks to them)

A birthday cake for the birthday girl
My 'Will u marry me?' Tees
LED flowers to form my 'heart'
LED balloons for extra lightings
my bouquet of Japanese Roses

Tees for us.

We headed to our dining destination at around 6;
at the same time the team will be gathering from around the island.
Each delivering the designated item as discussed before.

Dinner was lots of mushrooms, but haha I'm not going into that in this article.
Midway through the meal, I went outside to change my undershirt to
my pink Will U marry me? tee.
Also to check on the progress.
Things were running smooth, thanks to my committed 'crew' :)

Soon, it was dusk and we headed out of the restaurant.
From then it was mission execution.
I brought her to the end of the Orchard Central rooftop, where the guys were.
The group surprised her and delivered a song and cake,
that took her attention away momentarily while
I took my shirt off, and got my flowers and ring from behind her.
There on I guided her by her hand and brought her to where the 'LED flowers' heart was,
and did what I wanted to do for her that night,
to propose to my beloved, one and only special girl.
It was a great night.
I will let the photos do the talking, thanks for reading :)
(also a video at the end)

STOP! Wearing panty liner everyday

Hello Girls! I know girls nowadays like to wear panty liners for hygiene and safety purposes. However, there're some side effects for wearing panty liners everyday.

Alright. Let me share my experience ;)

I started wearing panty liners when I was 21 because my girls introduced me. Wearing panty liners is good for your panty, of course. Obviously it can make your panties clean and dry and it won't stain you panty with blood probably on the first day of menstruation comes.
I admit that I addicted using it and I used to wear it everyday 24 hours.
What I noticed along the way when using daily basics is especially the centre area of my buttock have acne problem. Eww~~~

Firstly, the adhesive strip at the bottom of the pantyliner is made of plastic. And, we all know that skin is unable to breath through plastic.
You pass out normal genital discharge during the day, your discharge stays on the pantyliner, which would be sticked against your skin for as long as you are still wearing the pantyliner. We also know that bacteria grow much faster in wet and high-temperature area. Now, you see, the bacteria is growing on areas like your private area. This will highly likely cause gential acne and irritation.

I know it is just a mildcase if you notice early but some side effects like yeast infection and genitel acne problems are disturbing enough. It's embarrassing case when you wear swimsuit on the beach and your hip is with acnes or acne scars. Just imagine Girls.. Nobody want it right?

So what is the solution to cure this problem? Stop wearing it..I don't mean throw away all your panty liners. You can keep it and wear it for spotting days and not to be worn on a daily affair. It is pretty simple way and the right solution for your problem. You will see the result during one week :)

Staycation @ Lloyd's Inn Singapore

A long awaited staycation and in this first week of 2015, we found ourselves at Lloyd's Inn Singapore.

At first glance, it wasn't exactly what you would call 'spectacular', but Lloyd's Inn really starts captivating you that moment you step foot in it.

Initially we booked the Big Garden room, but upon arrival we were told by the front-desk that those rooms were fully occupied, and we were allocated the business room.

Oh well I guess it's ok since plenty might have similar ideas to have a staycation over the weekends on this 2nd day of the new year.

And so we checked in and was escorted by the friendly staff to our room.

Good for us, our room was in the centralised area of the inn and there wasn't much hussle getting around.

The business room was a two decks mini studio apartment, much like the concept mStudio hotel is using.

Ok so on the lower deck, basically everything about the room is here. There's the living room, work/study area, bathroom/ toilet, sink. Facilities include a smart TV, sofa, study table with stationaries, mini fridge, hangers, and all the toiletries needs.

Onto the upper deck, as you may have already guessed, is where the queen sized bed, another smart TV and a safe can be found.

The room's painted in white, and it's cleaniness is considerably well.

Now let's have a look at the room.

Stairways to the top and bottom, well you'll be using this alot.
Side look of the stairways, pretty neat sight.

The outdoor toilet/ bathroom. Pretty cool is what I find it ;)

The resting area just a short distance from the lobby. Maybe not the cleanest place on earth but there are parts of this area where you can put yourself to ease and relax.
Another view from the resting area, the stairs you see link to the main lobby.
My lady at the resting area.

The same resting area at night. Nice place to be at. Here you can see the dipping pool where you can...take a dip.

Another night view of it.

The study table, hanging area and my girl who shared this great experience.
The Inn provides breakfast vouchers to two cafeteria at the turn of the road. Crowded place in the morning.

Well for locals looking for a place to spend the weekend, we would urge you to give Lloyd's inn a go.
At a very affordable price (~200+ SGD) for the business room intro-ed in this article, Lloyd's provides a very cosy and comfortable option. The staffs and place is great, location is centralised, and you get a room providing you with almost everything you need to have a enjoyable staycation.

As for overseas friends who will be visiting Singapore and is looking for lodging, another plus point of the Inn is it's very near to the shopping paradise of Singapore, Orchard Road. A location which will provide you with ease travelling around this little island.
